Dindigul Science Tech & Startup Innovation Festival 2026
Why Science Festival in Dindigul?
The Tamil Nadu Government is actively fostering a robust science and technology ecosystem through a multi-pronged strategy. A cornerstone of this effort is Startup TN, the state's startup and innovation mission, which has cultivated exponential growth in new ventures, particularly in deep tech. These initiatives are further strengthened by significant investments in next-generation digital and green infrastructure, such as AI-driven grid management projects and large-scale renewable energy development. The latest Global Tamil Nadu Startup Innovative Event held in Coimbatore, inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu was truly commendable.
To foster scientific temper, humanism and to nurture the spirit of enquiry among students, innovators, and the general public, Mr. Maran Nagarajan and Mrs. Poongodi Subramanian of KaarTech have taken the noble initiative to organize a Science Festival in Dindigul under the guidance and support of our respected district collector Thiru. S. Saravavanan IAS. This festival aims at bringing together schools, colleges, startups, and research enthusiasts under one platform to celebrate innovations in science and technology.
Dindigul Science festival is coordinated by Dindigul District Administration. The event is sponsored by Mr. Maran Nagarajan (KaarTech – CEO, Founder – Prof.SSN Science Trust), son of Prof. S. S. Nagarajan, who formerly served as the Professor and Head of the Department of Physics at GTN Arts College, Dindigul. Prof. Nagarajan, a visionary educationist and passionate science promoter, also established the Dindigul Branch of the Tamil Nadu Science Forum, with the vision of promoting scientific thinking, rational inquiry, and community awareness across the region.
Through this Science Festival, the organizing team aspires to inspire young minds, encourage innovation, and strengthen the bond between academia, industry, and society — paving the way toward a scientifically empowered and progressive Dindigul.
Thanks to Dindigul Science Tech & Startup Innovation Festival 2026 and Startup TN for the listing and graphics for this virtual startup event.
