CTO Life Line: 'Getting Support for Technical Investment' Livestream
This edition's topic is: 'Getting support for technical improvement.'
CTO Life Line is a monthly live stream dedicated to supporting CTOs and helping them move from reactively fire-fighting to proactively improving their organisation's ability to deliver value and maintain excellent customer experiences.
Your hosts are Noah Cantor, CTO and technology leadership coach, and Daniel Walters, CTO coach, former CTO/CIO of Seek Asia and former CPTO of local NZ recruitment startup Weirdly.
Last session, we received a question from the audience which we couldn't fully answer due to time constraints but which we thought would be an excellent topic for the next session:
"How to present technical debt in terms of business value to key stakeholders"
We will discuss:
* The concept of technical debt and whether it's a helpful framing.
* What common approaches do people take, and do these approaches work?
* Approaches we've used successfully.
And, of course, we will answer questions from the audience as we go.
The session will be approximately 55 minutes long and may also be distributed in podcast and other formats.
Thanks to Daniel Walters for the listing and graphics for this virtual startup event.
