HPC-AI Meetup - Data Science and Computational Modelling |The Ocean Cleanup

This is the very first bi-monthly HPC-AI Meetup organised by EuroCC Netherlands with the aim of sharing knowledge on the capabilities of the High-Performance Computing technology and its applications in the real-world.

Bruno Sainte-Rose is the Lead Computational Modeller at The Ocean Cleanup - a nonprofit environmental engineering organisation based in the Netherlands that develops technology to extract plastic pollution from the oceans and to capture it in rivers before it can reach the ocean.

Bruno will be sharing his knowledge in the Computational Modelling activities for the Oceans team where the objective is to model and verify the efficiency of the cleanup of the offshore plastic accumulation in the oceanic gyres.
