Unleashing AgInnovation: How 500 hackers work on tech solution for farmers

Next week, we will participate in START Hack, the largest student-run startup conference and hack in Europe, powered by the University of St Gallen, Switzerland. START Hack brings together the brightest minds in business and tech from universities across the globe to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems in agriculture, with themes around sustainability, disease prevention and supply chain transparency. START Hack bridges the gap between the worlds of business and technology to create exciting opportunities for talented young developers, including the chance to win life-changing and project-launching prize money.
As the world’s population increases, farmers are under huge pressure to grow more food from the same amount of land. At the same time, there is a need to increase the sustainability of our food systems whilst ensuring the increased demand is met. Farmers have to constantly make decisions which involve trade-offs between factors such as yield, cost, CO2 emissions and other sustainability metrics. The impacts of these decisions and trade-offs involved are critical for the entire food value chain.
Mark your calendars for March 21st at 3pm CET, where we'll give you an exclusive glimpse into how 500 hackers collaborate on cutting-edge tech solutions for farmers. Our colleagues will share with you why their support is not just important, but crucial for us. Tune in to witness the synergy of innovation and purpose in action!
